Mama Sam in trouble after conning neighbors

Last year, Comedian Maama Sam came out and paraded off children claiming that she does not have money to look after them because of the country’s lockdown state.

Several people including Maama Fiina and Abitex responded to her cries and donated items which included matoke, posho, and cash.

After receiving the donations, the comedian appeared on spark tv where she appreciated everyone who came to her rescue and disclosed how she had started investing the money she received in poultry.

Just a few days ago, the children who were paraded off by Maama Sam as her own and her sister’s revealed that they were just used.
The children claim that the comedian who is also their neighbor and a friend to their mother came to them and asked one of them to act as her own daughter and another as her sisters

She called us and told my sister to act as her daughter and then promised that she would share whatever they will give her with us. She said that I should act as her sister’s daughter,” One of the girls said

“She game me a new name and game me what to say on TV, she told me to say that our father abandoned us when we were still young that’s why we were begging for help,” Another girl said

The girls claim that Maama Sam received UGX 2million from Maama Fiona but she did not share it with them.

The girl’s mother who also appeared on spark tv said that her baby daddy’s family were upset upon seeing their children on TV begging for help yet they never lacked at home. She added that their father disowned them and stopped sending money for them

She asked Maama Sam to go back on TV and tell everyone that she used the children to solicit money from people.

Maama Sam has responded to the girls claims saying that they are ungrateful because she was only trying to help them adding that she found them in a poor situation
