TMIS website Hacked. Teachers Information under Security Threat

Teachers Management Information System Hacked Down.

It all comes as a shock for a teacher in Uganda waking up to apply for Teacher’s online registration  only to find a horrible message on the website.

As always noted that Uganda is a joke , the ministry of Education is under attack as their teachers Registration Website has been hacked and is inaccessible. Displayed on the website is the phrase.

This is not the first time government websites have been hacked.

It is shocking because about 300,000 teachers information could have been exposed and in wrong hands. The information  includes teachers national ID details, registration certificates and academic documents.Such information is so vital and if inappropriately used, it can cause a security threat and so many people could be endangered.

There has been no official statement from the ministry or TMIS concerning the hack of the website.
